Llantwit Major remain in the top three of the Cymru South after a 1-1 draw at Trethomas Bluebirds on Friday night.
Manager Ben Stait welcomed back goalkeeper Jack Lansdown and winger Matty Kimmins from their UEFA Regions Cup excursion by handing both players a start against the league leaders.
Llantwit went ahead on 21 minutes when the hosts were punished for some poor defending and Matty Kimmins teed up Tom Tweedy to score his third goal in two games, following on from his quick fire brace in the Welsh Cup..
But Major's lead didn't last as David Vincent drew level just five minutes later with Lee Baldock providing the assist.
Llantwit held firm against the Bluebirds in the second half to leave them just three points off the top of the table, going into their home clash with Goytre United next Saturday (5th October).
For the players, it will be their last chance to win a place in the squad to face Belgian club Berchem Sport in their Fenix Trophy clash in Antwerp four days later.
