More than £430,000 has been raised for the Tŷ Hafan children's hospice in just sixty hours.
The Every Precious Life appeal highlighted the stories of families supported by the Sully hospice after experiencing baby loss.
The intial £400,000 target was reached by 8pm on Tuesday night - with another £30,860 raised by the 10pm deadline.
Gwenno George, and her husband Luke Nicholas, shared the story of their son Emrys - who was born prematurely at just 25 weeks and passed away when he was just eight days old.
With Tŷ Hafan's support, the couple - who live in Cardiff - were able to take their son to Gwenno's hometown of Criccieth in Gwynedd, where Emrys was laid to rest.
Earlier this month, Gwenno and Luke completed their own fundraiser for the hospice, a series of walks stretching a total of 165 miles - the distance from Cardif to Criccieith - by hiking from Cardiff's neonatal intensive care unit to Tŷ Hafan.
"We are blown away by everyone's support, kindness and generosity during the appeal", said Gwenno.
"Every pound donated has meant so much to us, and I know that it will have such a huge positive impact on the wonderful work of Tŷ Hafan. Diolch o galon i bawb."
"It has been a privilege to share Emrys' story as part of the appeal, and I am so, so proud of our son. I would do anything to hold Emrys again and tell him of the huge impact that he has had, but I know that he's smiling somewhere."
She added: "Finally, thank you to all the wonderful staff and volunteers that have worked so tirelessly on the campaign and continue to do so, their dedication is an inspiration to us all."
"Throughout the appeal, I have been thinking so much about all the children and their families that haven't had the opportunity to be supported by Tŷ Hafan, hopefully this is a small step in the right direction of reaching more families and amazing children."
Tŷ Hafan says the number of newborns referred to them has more than doubled in a year - but the hospice has only enough money to reach one in ten terminally ill children.
Kath Keeble from Merthyr also supported the appeal after her son Tommy was born prematurely at 31 weeks and died at just eight days old.
"It's been an honour and a privilege to be able to share Tommy with the world as part of the Every Precious Life appeal", said Kath, who is a community health worker.
"I'm so proud of everyone who shared, engaged with social media, donated. The incredible champions and staff at Tŷ Hafan who worked so hard."
"Reaching the goal means that so many more people can be helped when they face the trauma and heartbreak of losing their baby. It makes my heart so proud to know that because of this campaign more families can be supported in the unwavering way I have. Lifelong, deep and meaningful support."

Every donation made during the 60-hour appeal was doubled - with money still coming after the 10pm deadline on Tuesday, with the total standing at £433,689 as of Thursday afternoon.
Dan Barnsey, head of fundraising at Tŷ Hafan, added: "Once again, our amazing supporters have blown us away with their kindness and generosity."
He added: "We've had so many people support us to reach our target from our amazing appeal champions, through to community groups, companies, trusts and individuals from across South, Mid and West Wales. We thank each and every one of them from the bottom of our hearts."
