Pupils from two Vale schools have taken part in a STEM learning event at Aston Martin's St Athan factory.
The year 9 students from St Cyres School and Whitmore High School in Barry are taking part in 'Seren', a Welsh Government programme helping secondary school pupils to achieve their full academic potential.
Both schools were given a guided tour of the manufacturing site and given hands-on experience of problem solving tasks and workshops.
They also heard from female students in the third year of Aston Martin's degree apprenticeship programs.

The programme was organised by lead engineers Grace Lewis and Dan Marshall - who are both Science STEM Ambassadors - in collaboration with the Vale Seren Academy.
