A 30-year-old man from Barry has been charged following an assault on Skomer Road on Friday night.
The assault took place at around 11:20pm, with a 43 year old man from Barry remaining on hospital.
On Sunday, South Wales Police confirmed that 30-year-old Liam Chichester, from Barry, had been charged with Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent.
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident or recorded any footage to contact them via 101, quoting 2600229849.
