Here at the Vale's local radio station, we have the Bro Radio Academy.
Launched in 2024, It's our training and development arm that brings together all the opportunities currently provided by Bro Radio under one umbrella.
Our introductory course for young people (ages 11-18) which is supported by the Vale Youth Service runs for 12 weeks and offers a mix of classroom based learning and practical studio sessions. They are run by knowledgeable radio people, with years of hands-on experience working in professional media environments.
If you know someone who'd love to be on the radio, learn new skills and make new friends, there's a course starting in September with lots more planned for the future.
